Hey I'm feeling really confused at the moment, basically I got to the interview for Monash MBBS and didn't make it in unfortunately
I got an offer for Biomedicine at UoM. However, I've read about how for the 2017 Monash Biomedicine cohort, at least 50 places will be reserved for the highest ranking students to go onto graduate medicine without need of the GAMSAT. I also have been offered two scholarships at Monash but nothing at UoM, I'm really torn now! If I go to Melbourne do I just tough it out, hope for the best, prepare for the GAMSAT and hope for an interview at any of the 3 graduate med schools or should I go to Monash (it was 1 preference lower) and set my hopes on being in the top 50 for 2017 entry??
Does Melbourne have anything that can bypass the GAMSAT like Monash is suggesting, or is that only for the 99.90 scorers? There's just so many things going through my head at the moment and all I want to do is get into Medicine after being rejected from Monash MBBS
what are your thoughts on this?? Is the GAMSAT more pre-parable for than the UMAT?? I just feel so disappointed and lost at the moment after coming so close, I don't know what my best bet is at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.
