you'll need ID to get your student ID, so either a drivers licence or passport. You'll also need ID for your online enrollment.

idk about this year, but last year, ID cards were made in one of the rooms in sidney myer asia centre. it was pretty much get off the swanston street tram, walk into the building and it's the first room on your left. But yeah, not sure where it'll be this year. But just look for a stupidly long line and that'll probably be it.

I think everyone should make room for an Atarnotes-exclusive AAD party in their itineraries. :P

What happens if we have neither a driver's licence nor a valid passport? I have both a learner's permit and a working with children check card. Should this suffice?

learner's permit is a driver's license is it not?

e, okay it's obviously not but it's the equivalent in terms of identification AFAIK

I thought it would be OK, but the university really hasn't explained that well. :S Thanks, Russ. :)

It will either be that or the BBQ (which I gave up on last year). :P

I went at 1:30pm and was expecting a massive line but I only had to wait 15 minutes. :S

Not sure haha. XD

So who managed to get into the timetabling session for Bachelor of Science students? They really should've used a bigger lecture theatre.

Same thing happened for the "Arts as breadth" presentation. Although, everyone there was essentially only interested in languages. XD

i didnt take the subjects, but every single one of my friends who did didn't enjoy it/wish they took something else. :'D from what i hear, it's just a poorly run subject overall. everyone who took ripped it to shreds in the end of semester surveys. XD i remember one of the lecturers reading out someones feedback for esd2 saying "unlike esd1, this subject is actually worth taking" and the student cohort just rang with approval.  also esd1's not a prerequisite for most engineering streams, so theres not a whole lot of point.
