My maths methods class is full of duds, who decided to do MM although they are completely incapable. There's 17 students in my class, and only 5 who should be doing MM. I'm expecting most of the other 12 to fail miserably.

Now obviously I am in a weak (very) cohort. What effect will this have on my study score? Will it make too much of a difference? I would love to switch schools, but it's way too late since school starts in a few days.

Hey, although I'm completely new to this system myself, I've heard that if you are ranked in the top in your cohort, your study score will not be affected.
Don't worry too much. I'm in the same situation and I guess the best thing to do would be to try your very best. :) Hope this helped!

If you aren't ranked first, it could affect you if the people topping your school's SACs do poorly in the exam. If you're ranked first and do well on the exam, you will get the study score you deserve and it won't be influenced much at all by the rest of the cohort.

It's just that if you have a strong cohort and your SAC marks weren't that good but do well on the exam, you end up doing pretty well. But if you've got a bad cohort and aren't ranked too well, it's a bit harder to get a high score. >_<
