Does anyone know if it is possible to do both a diploma of language and a diploma of mathematics alongside a commerce degree?

i've never heard of anyone taking two concurrent diplomas o.O it'll be quite a heavy workload having to take between 8-16 extra subjects to complete your diplomas.

I don't think the workload would necessarily be any greater, you'd just have to take an extra year or two to complete your study. To my knowledge though you can only take one concurrent diploma per Unimelb undergraduate degree. There's a possibility I'm mistaken though, or that there are exceptions. Unlikely, but possible. I've never heard of it.

Thanks for your replies. I guess if no one's ever heard of it being done then it's either not possible or not worthwhile.

It's worth an inquiry at the very least. Get in touch with your student centre.

i wouldn't say it's not worthwhile, math and language would definitely complement a commerce degree! :)

Oh, I didn't mean not a worthwhile combination of subject areas, just whether it's worthwhile spending an extra year or two doing two diplomas in comparison to only one diploma and just using breadth for the other subjects.

Okay, will do that soon.
