Yep, you're allowed to use your bound reference/textbook in your SAC's (well at least my school did).

can i stick like 2 240 page books together? as long as their binded? so basically i can bring anything as long as they have one spine, even ALL my external notes, EVERYTHING?

Yes, as long as there is only 1 spine and no loose pages.

Though I definitely don't recommend bringing in a bound reference with a ton of pages. Just bring one that you will be comfortable with using.
