Hi all,
I have a prac SAC on Tuesday next week for Movement Across Membranes and I made myself a checklist of areas to revise. And I was wondering if there was anything else you recommend that I add to it? I've got:

-structure of cell membrane (including being able to draw/label a 2D phopholipid bilayer)
-function of cell membrane
-purpose of cholesterol/protein/glycoprotein in the cell membrane
-permeability of molecules in lipid part of membrane
-processes of diffusion (including channel and carrier mediated), facilitated diffusion, osmosis, active transport
-hypotonic, isotonic, hypertonic solutions
-similarities and differences for diffusion, facilitated diffusion, osmosis and active transport
-endocytosis
-exocytosis

Thanks!  :)

I think you've covered everything. That's what I would study for.

Good Luck for your sac ;)

Thankyou Rishita! I find Biology quite challenging at times, so hopefully my checklist helps me to study for my SAC so I can reach my potential in biology  :D

I think everyone finds biology challenging at some point. But if you study hard, you'll get it.
If you ever get stuck, don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone will try and help

Don't forget definitions! One of the first questions will probably be "define diffusion" or something like that. Other than that, I'd say you're set!
