should i get a biology dictionary?

Hi all, Is a biology dictionary really that essential? if so should I get the henderson's dictionary?

I dont think it'll be worth the cost or is absolutely necessary. Keep in mind your textbook, A++ notes and all those other things are crafted *especially* for VCE and contain only what you need to know, at the level you need to know it. There's a small danger that outside material will cause confusion or wrong answers. I think the appendix in your biology book or the internet should be fine. If you find it is leaving you massively deficient then maybe get the dictionary (or share it with a few of your friends).

I didn't buy one and I was OK. It's not absolutely essential for success - there are some that find it beneficial but others don't. Especially since the exam has moved away from memory-based questions, I think its value has diminished.

Once you're at Uni, they're great, but in year 12 there's just so much available amongst your textbooks and the internet. The stuff you're learning in biol at the moment is pretty standard across the world, so the number of resources on the net will easily suffice. :)
