Do they have to be from the Australian Media, since it is more of an American-centric issue?

An advanced google news search doesn't find much else, you might be able to find some aussie blogs that deal with this topic. Not sure if that's technically "media" by VCAA standards..

Though it's an interesting topic, it's not really big in the mainstream Australian media since most sectors of the economy are actively encouraging Asian trade links, or employing Asian migrants. You could focus on a broader social inequality issue, then 'zoom in' to the Bamboo Ceiling
