Hello everyone,
So i got my first SAC result back a couple days ago and even though i was confident, it was not as i good as i hoped. I scored 75%, i had lost lost a lot of marks due to my prac having an error in it and my teacher said that my results were not in the range that he would allow and hence all the questions relating to my results were incorrect. I was just wondering if you could tell me, what i will have to do try and get somewhere near 45 for my study score? I was getting around 95% for biology in year 10 so i would really like to get this mark. At my school, JMSS, we are having 10 SACs instead of the normal 8 so will this mean that my score will have less of an impact on my over-all score? Also does going going to a selective school give any disadvantges towards my ATAR? I read somewhere that if everyone does well, i will score lower than what i would of in another school..
I just completed my second SAC yesterday and i just found out after talking with my firends that i had lost a careless mark due to me not reading a question problem, i'm really worried right now, i'm hoping to get at least 9% for this SAC but who knows what other mistakes i may have done. Will this make it impossible for me to get around a 45 study score even if i do well in my exams?
Will i be better of just trying to focus on my subjects for next year (as i'm in year 11) and not trying to get biology on my top? My other subjects are, English Language, Chemistry, Geogrpahy, Methods and Accounting.
Thank you,
