Hey does anyone know what scores would be needed to get a 45-47 in health?
I've been looking at the grade distributions, and since the A+ cutoff is quite low, can 3 low A+s get you a 40 in health like some of the other subjects?

If you get an A+ for each of your components then you would probably get higher than a 40.

So do I still have a good chance for a 50 if I can ace the exam?
Here are my score
Unit 3
29/30
39/30
40/40
Around 98%
Unit 4
25/25
20/25 :(
50/50 - Hoping to get that , still have to do the sac
Around 95%

Do I need to ace the exam to get 50? or around 95%+?

Hey there :)

I'm currently doing unit 2 of hhd and we are about to study adult health and development, I would really really really like to go on an excursion because we haven't been on one for this subject, but the problem is I have no idea where to go and neither does our teacher. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks in advance :)

Possible acronyms to remember for tomorrow, should you be struggling to remember any of the content:

Unit 3: Australia’s health

AOS 1: Understanding Australia’s health
-   Health: PMS
-   Determinants of health: PSBB
-   NHPAs: A COMIC DAD

AOS 2: Promoting health in Australia
-   Guiding principles of the social model of health: AREAS
-   Action areas of the Ottawa Charter: BCSDR (Bad Cats Smell Dead Rats)
-   Strategic priorities of VicHealth: PEPPI
-   Values that underpin the Australian health system: CARE SES
-   Dietary Guidelines for Australian Adults: TELEC

Unit 4: Global health and human development

AOS 1: Introducing global health and human development
-   Elements of sustainability: AAE
-   Millennium Development Goals: EA PRICED

AOS 2: Promoting global health and human development
-   Types of aid: BEMN
-   Factors that influence development: PEGGHIP
-   Role of the United Nations: WHHS
-   WHO’s agenda: PE FISH
-   Priorities of DFAT: HEE HEE

Hopefully all of these are accurate - I may be a touch rusty. Let me know if you would like an elaboration on any area.  :)

The VicHealth priorities have changed, so I don't think PEPPI applies anymore. I use TEMPA (prevent harm from TOBACCO smoking, ENCOURAGE regular physical activity, improve MENTAL wellbeing, PROMOTE healthy eating, prevent harm from ALCOHOL)

Lol you're right. I'd just done a question about reducing the prevalence of arthritis and I was obviously thinking about reducing still, haha.
