Today I did quiz 2 on chapter 3 of unit 1. It was all about the health determinants and their affects on health and development. So looking back, I did well, but (isnt there always a but?), there was this one multiple choice question that asked: What is the normal body mass index (or what ever you call it) for youth. One of the choices was '18-25' , another one was '18-30'. It was obviously one of them, so I took a guess and said the latter. It was actually the first one. I swear to god y'all, go check your unit 1 and 2 textbooks, there aint no exact answer in the text book, I tell my teacher and what does she say?? We talked about it.

Hey :) Well I think the book does say somewhere that a BMI of over 30 signifies obesity (I'm pretty sure it defines obesity as that, and with waist measurements), so if you go with that logic, then it makes sense before obese would be overweight, then normal BMI below what. 25-30 is overweight btw :)
VCE: English, Health, Legal, Psych, Further, Chem
2015: Arts/Law @ Monash

Guys I only doubled with Arts because I couldn't let go of Psych and wanted to keep doing it as a major at least, but I took International Studies on a whim after the info session just because I needed a minor, and I love it so much! It's 3:29am and I had to share this, I think I'm majoring in it bye.

Argh my last health SAC for the term is in the last two periods, on the last day of the term haha!

Who else has a health SAC next week? :)

Great to hear guys :).

Good luck on your SAC on NHPAs Walcek! You have the whole holidays to study for it :). I had mine on the last day of term, tbh fairly simple. There was just one definition - the definition for NHPA. Everything else was just costs, charts, health promotion programs, stats, why it is an nhpa. Basically know each NHPA to death.

Also, where is MM ! ?

Just out of curiosity, what did you write as the definition?
And in regards to MM, my thoughts exactly!
