Also for part c and d. How do we know when we need to use pinned square for working out to arrive at answer and when not. Cause for these questions according to VCAA answers we didn't need to do any punett squares, just write the final genotype/ genotype ratio/ phenotypic ratio and the allele symbols used. Thanks.

They aren't technically required, but you might as well make one if it helps you get to the answer.

just wondering anyone been to the end of year lectures for NEAP Biology 3/4 before? and do you think it is worth it. apparently the lecturer is hugh latmier- chief bio assessor. seems good due to his reputation.

Lectures are not absolutely necessary, especially since both money and time (around this exam period) is precious. When i did it, i thought they were pretty good. It depends where you're at in your learning as well. If you're really behind, they wont do much i reckon.

Hello.
Apparently just found out that on VCAA rules- you are not allowed a watch with functions on it (ie alarm), does VCAA really actually care about this?? - cause my watch has functions and I really need a watch for the examinations. Thanks

They'll care if it goes off. Play it safe and get a watch with no alarm. :)
