Perhaps draw up a list of pro/cons and supporting evidence for each and decide off that basis.

I think the best would be in support of it, main reason being it is way easier to make a speech on.

What negatives are there to it really? The person receiving the organ may get sick from it but they obviously already were..

There's always an issue of morals, however it really depends on your contention. My oral is going to advocate for mandatory organ donation in Australia. I did some research and found that religious groups generally do not oppose organ donation, contrary to popular belief. Honestly, I personally do not see an issue with organ donation, hence why I'm arguing in its favour ;) I guess society still views it pejoratively, possibly due to a lack of understanding and an attachment to old values. I am certain, however, that it will be mandatory in the future, unless scientific advances allow for a compromise (from stem cell research, etc). Anyway, here are some useful links:
