The food they give you when you stay in a Japanese Buddhist temple (i forgot how to size the images) - https://1.bp.blogspot.com/_MJYsqqvu_4A/TOIOi40emuI/AAAAAAAAB1A/DvFtneRUxtQ/s1600/P1110603.JPG

The enormous 750g steak is just off-screen, right? :P Looks like a good spread, wonder what some of the less-obvious fruit and veggie stuff is (e.g. basically anything served on a leaf)

The place we were just eating at had a 1kg steak for $50, don't think its worth it though (but dont ask me, i don't eat meat).

I have no idea what it is but you gotta give it to them that its unique. Theres some religious sects that aren't only vegetarians but they dont eat any root vegetables (because it kills the plant, thats how non-violent they are).

Two 2kg (each) whole eye fillets - cooked whole on a BBQ rubbed in ground peppercorns and salt.

Yep! It's probably the most mundane meal I've made :/

*cries harder*

Oh man, them feels. Most nights I cry myself to sleep thinking about how much more amazing my pasta could have been if I actually put effort into making sauce. Holy crap I miss home cooked food D':

I suck at taking photos of food, so I'm not uploading for fear of doing Europe an injustice, but I've been eating sooooo much amazing food!!
Lots of carbs though. So many carbs.
