in the UDP-Glucose Pyrophosphorylase slide from friday's lecture, is the 'NDP-sugar pyrophosphorylase' supposed to be udp-glucose pyrophosphorylase? If not could somebody explain that slide for me?

From my experience with Terry's MCB metabolism lectures, you don't need to know how to DRAW the structures, you just need to be able to recognise and name them. We also had to memorise all of the other enzymes and co-factors too, so best to write them as well.

Cheers dude, I hope that is the case!
Cause from other papers it seems that whoever was lecturing required students to be able to draw structures of glycolysis etc. I note that Terry hasn't lectured Metabolism before though.

As Shenz0r indicated, we had Terry for metabolism and he definitely didn't ask anything to that much detail, nor has he ever (and he's taught metabolism for a while in MCB).

im pretty sure because the vmax decreases, less substrate is needed to reach the new vmax/2 and hence Km also decreases.

How many hours of sleep do you get on average Levi? The past week I've gottten ~5 or so :( Can't wait for BCMB and ANAT to be over so I can sleep...

idek, at one point in semester it was 2 hrs a night due to endless assessments bunched together...
now it's gone up to like 6, but I have no time to sleep x_x I'm going to aim for 3 hrs tonight...

I'm virtually a zombie right now, just reading lecture slides and none of it is being absorbed :'(
do we have to know how to draw glycolysis/Krebs/ox phos/gluconeo/Cori/glycogenolysis/other things I don't even remember the names of this year? since the coordinator changed I'm hoping Terry will be nice :C

We had to draw fill in the blanks stuff for glycolysis but krebs cycle/ electron transport chains etc. are just names

Nah we don't need to draw any of it. Only name and recognise. In saying so, I find that drawing it helps with sticking it in my head, somewhat...

I'm worried about kinetics for tomrorow (since apparently they changed the format of the kinetics questions last year compared to past years).

u sure mane? i think i saw past papers asking you to draw molecules.
