fun volunteering roles?

Hi,
I need to make my resume look better but i dont know what to do.
I hate standing around doing nothing or even just sitting there listening to people- i find that most volunteering consists of this.
I get easily bored and have joined lots of things before but ended up quitting because i was fed up with the boredom.
so i was just wondering what are some good fun volunteering jobs out there?
Cheers.

You could volunteer for community/council events? Less long-term commitment, and you could beef up a resume much more quickly.
