I usually have the worst luck, so I'm surprised that the timetable works out pretty well for me!

October 29th:
English (9:00am- 12:15am)

October 30th:
Psychology (9:00am-11: 45am)

Friday 7th November:
Literature (3:00pm-5:15pm)

Tuesday 11th November:
Legal Studies (3:00pm-5:15pm)

Thursday 13th  November:
Art (9:00am-10:45am)

not too spaced out, not too cramped! But I'd prefer them all to start at 9 haha
2013: Art
2014: Legal studies, Literature, English, Psychology

goal for 14': 80 ATAR

That's pretty intense - I'd imagine they'd have some VCAA supervisor guarding you to make sure you don't use your phone or anything, I could imagine the fuss if you happened to just check the time and they saw you... oh and Epsilon did you do two 3/4 subjects last year? you don't have many subjects...
Yeah, I'll have a supervisor with me during that hour. I'm also not allowed any electronic devices, only printed material such as textbooks, notebooks, study notes, etc...

I'm also doing the Melbourne Uni extension program.

Do a hell of a lot of practice exams. Not only the past VCAA ones but also NEAP, QATs, TSSM and the list goes on.
Good luck!  :D

1. Wednesday, 29 October, 9.00 am – 12.15 pm-English
2. Monday 10 November 11:45am-2pm-Accounting
3. Tuesday 11 November 3-5:15PM-Legal Studies
4. Monday 17 November 11:45am-2pm-Religion & Society

Really like my timetable, as always English is out of the way nice and quickly, Accounting and Legal are my two strongest subjects so I'm happy to have a week to focus on them and then knock them off together (while having a sleep in between) while R&S gives me a bit of a break to study and really try and maximise my result, THEN FREEEEEDOOMMMM, just in time for my graduation evening a couple of days later.

I also prefer late-morning to early afternoon so I'm happy accounting and RnS are then. Late afternoon isn't to bad for me either so legal timing is good. Annoying that English is early though, but I knew it would be after all.

Just getting some outside thoughts and opinions on doing something along the lines of this:

Since 4/5 of my exams will be done by the 4th (english, psyc, eco and further) (side note: Psych and Eco same day, hnnnnnnnng) and legal is a week and a day after my other exams. I was thinking of putting minimal effort into legal up to my other exams, and then putting essentially 8 days of straight study into legal.

Any opinions / comments on this idea would be appreciated, cheers!

I think that's a good idea.

So maybe when you've got just over a week until the bulk of your exams, put a lot less focus on legal and more focus on the rest of your subjects. As soon as the four subject exams are over, take a day or two break and then get into legal revision. If you've done decent preparation beforehand, I think you shouldn't have any trouble getting back into the content of legal.

im in year 11 and i have two of the 3/4 exams ON THE SAME DAY AND SAME TIME SLOT. ill have to tell the vce coordinators.

That's pretty unfortunate for you, out of all the subjects you couldn't chosen...  Let your coordinators know and see what they can do about it. It'll probably be a similiar procedure to what's happening to Epsilon who has two exams at the same time. Good luck with that!

I think that's a pretty good idea. Don't completely ignore legal though. Like if I was you I would focus on all subjects until 5 or so days before exams and then just start focusing on exams in the order they are coming only.

I'm doing this too. I'm devoting an entire week before the English exam just to English. I may do a few practice exams for Methods, Chem and Physics here and there, but primarily English. Once that's out of the way, I have a week till Methods. Same thing, I'm devoting 90% of my time to Methods, 10% on a few Physics and Chem exams. Once Methods is out of the way, I'll go over everything for both chem and Physics.

Then, at 11:45AM on Wednesday the 12th of November, when I hear, 'You must stop writing', I am going to freaking bellydance out of the exam room, and run around the school yelling FREEDOM!!!

Then have KFC and sleep for a year.

im a year 11 student, and ive got 2 on the same day, theres exactly a 1 hour gap (further maths and business management).

What are the pros/cons of 2 on the one day?

Well for starters you have one less? Haha.
Nah but seriously good practice in order to see how you'll organise yourself etc. In hope of it not happening in year 12!
In hope of it not happening in year 12! Reality is, it might happen next year for you again, so it's good practice to see how you'll find it.

You're in this excited mojo where a punch in the face wouldn't hurt the day you have exams. If you have two on the same day, you'll be in an awesome state of mind of excitement and nervousness and blergh, and when you get home, you'll be DONE! Just lie on your bed, drool on your pillow and dream of freedom.

At least that's what I did :/ hehehe
