BMS1031 quries

Hi everyone,

So as part of Biomedicine I am undertaking Physics for Biomedicine. Through my revision there are two concepts that I am stumbling a bit on and was wondering if someone could please shed some light for me. They are:

- What is meant by the 'coefficient of friction, both static and kinetic.
- Why is that it easier to pull an object than it is to push it?
- Torque (I get the maths behind it) applications. To anyone that has done BMS1031 they will know how you kept getting thrown questions about the spine. If someone could tell me how to tackles Torque problems that would greatly appreciated. I'll attach an example.

Any help would be appreciated seeing as the exam is on Monday and I am beginning to have small frenzies.
