i make notes in a word document that summarise the chapter. I put it how to complete the ledgers/journals even though i would already know them but note taking is good for writing theory notes as there are often 4-6 mark theory questions in sacs and exams.
Hey Jason, I have a similar type question on note-taking (huge congrats from me on the 42 in Business Management

Something I aspire towards.
I do note-taking for Business Management and questions because our teacher is strict on these things, but I have found that I seem to remember information (not word by word) a lot easier when I just highlight and read over the concepts and think over the questions.
Normally I don't like taking a 'lazy' approach, however, for instance the last 2 SAC's I got away without doing the textbook questions and going over the concepts thoroughly and achieved 100% and another 95%, with 0 textbook questions. Of course I do the practice SAC ones.
How did you approach this? Do you still recommend I do the notes? Not so much for Business Management, but also Australian Politics. Generally they are the same in terms of rote-learning certain aspects to comment. I seem to learn more when I am doing less but actually thinking about the things I am going over. This way I seem to remember what I was thinking about in some aspects, whereas with the notes I always forget as I hardly go over them due to my scrawly handwriting.
Thoughts?
