2nd Year Biomed Selective Subjects for Sem 2

Hi guys,

I'm torn between picking one of these two subjects, PHRM20001 Pharmacology: How Drugs Work and PATH20003 Experimental Pathology.

So I was wondering if anyone who's done these before / has any idea about them, could give me their opinion?

My main concerns are:
- for Pharm, the workload in terms of memory and all that.
- for Pathology, the fact that 75% is based on pracs, how do these pracs / their assessment work, like would it be tough to score well in.

So yeah, any help would be appreciated.

Have you read the review for PHRM20001 yet?

On the other hand, I don't think anybody could offer anything to say on the subject much as it's a new one along with Experimental Physiology. Assuming it follows a track similar to the biochem equivalent of BCMB20005, you should be fine as long as you don't slip up on the pracs itself as well as the structuring of your report when you are required to write one. Again, this is all hypothetical.
