ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋahhh youre doing the american and the russian one TT Im doing mine via distance and dont even have someone to talk about history to-- (tbh everyone in my school hates history) but yeah high content and all... do you have like any idea on how to finish everything during the exams because?
i have no idea how....
mm, a lot of people at mine are eh about it, but we have a lovely teacher and that always helps (: um, the exam is going to hurt whatever happens because i'm pretty sure they stretch us with the required content in the time provided on purpose, but doing heaps of practice questions helps! realistically, for the using three/two points/explain sections, you need to be able to write one point every five minutes-ish. it hurts but it's definitely doable: i got mine down from fifteen minutes per point to five within maybe ten practice pieces? (might be a bit excessive, though, because this is my fun subject. apparently that's odd lmao but i'd much rather be in history than any arts class haha.) the essay is like a forty/forty-five minute thing i'm pretty sure? we haven't done that sac yet though so i don't quite know how to structure it but from what i know it's basically very similar to a using three points question (but, like, with an intro and conclusion and paragraph breaks). the more practice pieces you write, the more easily your writing flows under test conditions (: and ahhh yes i'm a history nerd so you can talk to me about it any time ahaha.
(tbh i kind of want to wake up the revs board? we could do with a quote compilation thread that isn't seven years old/has an active person to edit it omg. but it's very dead so :/ idk.)So, what is the GAT catchphrase for??
Do we somehow weave it into the GAT writing tasks??
Does it matter what task - expository or persuasive
?
you put it in your second essay somehow! i wouldn't put it in your first because i'm fairly sure they just want you to synthesise the information given for that, not add your own. if it was the latter it'd become just 'who knows this random topic best' and that's never going to cause the kind of unbiased results they want. (: so stick it into your persuasive somewhere (:
k888, i got shannon noll into the working for purpose one too

was fairly contrived though! but i'm pretty committed to club penguin making it in this year: it's a sad occasion
Hope the prompts are something technological!!
Might be a little hard to link on with otherwise!!!
i mean, if there's anything to do with death, you could mention it? or leisure time (which can no longer be occupied through online games such as the late club penguin) or studying (easily interrupted by technological influences). idk, everything becomes easier when you're 2 hours in and sick of vcaa haha.
