We had our Chem sac last week... the less said the better! Our teacher said across the 3 classes the highest mark was in the low 80's I think...the tests have to be standardised (really need that emoji that's crying from laughing lol) haha. I did well on the extended experimental investigation though, a B+ which I was very happy with
Thankfully we don't have our first methods sac till next term...we've just been doing tests every 2 chapters, and I got in the 60's for both so I'm reasonably satisfied with that (they've been out of like 20 marks!) Our next test will be at the start of next term. No-one in the cohort has been doing too well on the tests, barring a few. The problem is, the textbook questions aren't that hard, and the tests are such a massive step up from the textbook questions!
Given that Chem and Methods will be my 5th and 6th subjects, as long as I get around 30 for them I should hopefully be ok.
On the bright side, we got our Language Analysis marks back for English today and I got an A

I'm a bit nervous for French on Friday...all we've been told is we have to write a 3rd person story about an immigrant family! I swear, there are very few uplifting topics in the French course - it's all racism, immigration, global warming, poverty, war, etc. with a few topics about the arts and whatever spattered in between
