Not sure if anyone asked this yet but which uni/TAFE you all planning to go after school?

Hopefully Monash!! What about you?  :)
Don't worry about scores that you can't change  because there are so many more productive things you could do

Looking for customisable high school tuition that fits your needs? Or maybe you're just looking for some help with a specific concept that doesn't require frequent tuition. Man its great you guys and girls know what you'll want/ will be doing at university.

The problem with me is i have so many choices and i cant decide on what to do  :(

what should i do because at this stage i am clueless about what i want to do in future at uni.?
Don't worry! Many people don't know what they're doing yet. Although I want to do teaching I do have other interests, so who knows? I might even end up doing something else! Nothing has to be set in stone. You might decide what you want to do next year or not - either is fine. You could always put off going to uni until you know or go and do a broad degree/try things out e.g. arts, arts/commerce, arts/science, etc - whatever you're interested in! :)

Probably Deakin. I've been looking into Monash and La Trobe as well though or maybe Swinburne. What about you?

How is everyone going with school? I just got my interim report and I'm quite pleased. Kind of not long until Year 12. What subjects is everyone thinking of doing? Dropping or picking up any?

I actually haven't been to school in nearly a week  ::) (it's okay my doctor is a doctor). Pretty happy with all my grades but lit. I'm pretty sure that's because I've never gone into a SAC feeling confident. I plan to bump my work up to high A/A+ by the end of the year though.

99.95% sure (geddit? Are ATAR jokes funny? Probably not) I'll be doing Spesh, Methods, Lit, Classics and the new Software Development.

On another note, are any of you guys going to the 1/2 (or 3/4) AN lectures? I want to, but I'm not sure I can make it. :(

It is kind of scary I guess but I'm honestly more excited to get it over and done with. Then I can say I survived VCE  ::)
I'm still deciding subjects at the moment but I'll definitely be doing English, literature, and philosophy next year. Alongside those subjects I'm currently doing maths and biology. I'm not sure whether I'm going to drop maths or not though. I'll definitely be dropping biology but I'm still not sure what I want to pick up in it's place! I'm thinking maybe revolutions, politics, art, business management, or the extended investigation.

Haha, not doing English? I'm jealous your school offers classical studies. I really wanted to do that one. Software development seems kind of interesting actually.

Also, I'm going to the 1/2 English lecture. If anyone else is going it would be great to meet you all! :)

Yeah, you may as well give it a shot. Nothing to loose.
Plus, most people hardly prepare for it!

Doing the UMAT! We recently had a session with this year's UMAT batch, and they properly freaked us out. It is REALLY intimidating.

With regards to subjects, dropping HHD. I just can't stand it. Thinking about picking up Spesh instead, along with Methods, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Good luck to me. :|

The subjects I'm doing are:

1.Biology (completing This year)
2.Specialist Maths
3.Chemistry
4.Mathematical Methods
5.English
6.Not too sure about this one possibly a extension subject (Maths or Chemistry) or if I'm feeling lazy Further or maybe Accounting(Physics is an outside chance)

Anyone else going to apply for a MUEP/UMEP extension subject (If so which one)?

Doing pretty nice actually, i'm top 5 in all my subjects and hopefully i'll get my 50+PA in methods (hopefully....)!

Super excited for exams, which is a tad surprising.. i dunno.

It is kind of scary I guess but I'm honestly more excited to get it over and done with. Then I can say I survived VCE  ::)

Idk, i'm quite looking forward to the Year 12 privileges (there's quite a bit at my school), the common room and all that :D

I've already started UMAT prep #nolifer

If i'm going to do one, it'd be Maths.. it's a bit dubious for me about doing it though, maybe just doing 4 next year would be easier on my workload.
I'm doing the full asian 5 so spesh english chem and physics haha

Heard about the course changes for maths though, kinda envy you guys doing methods, apparently nothing gets added on and stuff gets taken off :/

My bad, you're right. My methods teacher was just laughing at me the other day which is probably why I have a biased interpretation of the changes.

Spesh gets a huge makeover though. Apparently it's going to turn from a breeze into some sort of semi-monster :/ probably will have to get tutoring for that ugh

Out of curiosity, what subject tutors are you guys planning (if any) to get next year? I'm not sure whether my results will be for next year, because the best students don't necessarily get the highest scores in the state at my school every year
