What do you guys do in class , just want to see what everyone else is up to for headstart.

Also hope everyone is enjoying their holidays

(only had one lesson)

but so far we've covered trig stuff: sine rule, cos rule, trigonometric identities

I can keep you posted on what we get up to over the next two weeks if you want?

I'm not peanutbutter (unfortunately ), but during my blast-off/step-up/what-have-you for 2015's further, we just covered introductory univariate statistics. Classifying data, barcharts, dot plots and that sort of stuff. Keep in mind that we're a public school, though, and a selective or otherwise more advanced school might just skip that stuff.

can confirm.... year 12 is horrid. hahaha, 1 day done.

haha same; first day of year 12 today and ended up doing ~4hours of work outside of class including a working during a free period just to stay on top of homeowrk

I'm doing spesh and we just revised vectors (which we already learnt this year) which we plan to finish during orientation and then do the "preliminary topics" during the holidays (as a minimum).

damn if you guys work that hard for the next year you should all smash year 12 !!!

remember guys, if you want to go ahead with your subjects, absolutely go for it, but dont do it at the cost of your enjoyment. dont say no to any outings or parties or events because you feel obliged to stay home and study !! chill out for a bit before you get stuck into it because year 12 is a painful slog and you will need to be as fresh as possible to start smashing those sacs as soon as they start !!

Thanks so much for the advice! Yeah schoolwork is coming second to my social life these holidays, I don't go out much so I will study, but if I get a chance to go out I'm taking it Thanks again

Yeah, Melbourne's probably the most convenient place for a meetup. Unless my house turns out to be the shortest distance for everyone so I don't have to go anywhere
