I'm considering going to either TSFX's or TSSM's summer school things for Business and Legal, but don't know which to go to?

TSSM is more expensive, but their programs are apparently more interactive and like classes? Whilst TSFX is cheaper (but still quite expensive), but I've heard their notes are awesome?

Any advice/things you've heard guys!?!

So i woke up sunday morning and ever since my neck on the left side is bloody killing me, the muscles are all in spasm and won't get out of it. I woke up like 15 times last night  >:(  Now i'm staring at a huge pile of holiday homework I haven't gotten back to because my bloody neck can't keep the weight of my head up. And I have to take a bus to school for presentation evening rehearsal today and I'm going to look like a massive idiot with my head hanging down  ::) Pi?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Thushan?!?!?!?!?!

Yeah why? I'd personally go with tsfx just cos I've heard good things about notes and I'm not fussed about interactive lectures and its cheaper, but what's so bad about tssm?

Definitely pumped for the ATARNotes lectures!

Oh really? Why do you say that? :)

This is partially my own experience but it also comes from what others tell me,
- incredibly slow
- not through at all
- taught me INCORRECT things for psych
-notes were horrid

Yeah was not a great day. Others seemed to concur with me although I went for psychology... I can't be 100% sure about other subjects but people seem to go tsfx > tssm

Guys, I'm having a bit of a concern

I'm planning to take the UMAT this year, but I don't have the forms of identification that is required.

No age of proof card or anything like that. Haven't gotten my driver's license. And my passport expired like  a month ago. I was born overseas so if I want to renew it, it's going to take a lot of time to translate the original certificates and documents +$$$

What do you think I should do? Which methods is the quickest and cost-effective way of getting one of these identification?
I was thinking about getting a driver's license but am unsure whether I'll past the test...And I don't want to study for that on top of my VCE stuff :'(
Help?

aha take the driving test during holidays, its really really really easy! Just do some of the practice tests they're very similar. (this is probably a counter-productive response coz u said u didnt want to do it) but still, driving license is very easy to get!

Not familiar with what you need, but seconding the learner's permit. Without reading the book (which you can grab as a pdf from the site) you could probably get anywhere between 70-85% above 60% on the practice test with common sense. Wouldn't any standard picture-ID work?

Edit: More realistic estimate ::)

Hey J, if you aren't turning 18 before the UMAT then it's unable to get a proof of age card, so renew your passport I think. I did the drivers license to sit the UMAT but I don't even drive so that was silly. Also, very controversial, but I don't think studying for the umat is a good idea because a) losing time to study for VCE and (b) The test is designed for those who will best qualify as a doctor based on their natural ability.

Thanks Callum :)

Yep, I won't really study for the UMAT - I don't have time for it anyway :P
I will consider what to do. For now it's the driver's license or renewing the passport. At least my options got narrowed down to 2.

Thanks guys! It's always valuable to get a second opinion on these things
