As a mod, I think this topic is clearly getting a bit out of hand.  Stabbing and thuggery bad enough, self-inflicted stabbing getting too far.  /locked and bans handed out to all.

If you're near Melb. Central then go to the level above the train station but underneath the shot tower. Near the escalators there'll be a little cafe (I think it's called Street Beat or something.) That might not be open, but there's a big table just in front of it that's part of the cafe and there are two power outlets there.

tl;dr if you do a news search for 'Broadmeadows,' 9/10 top results are about shootings and stabbings, and the other one is just a passing reference to how it's an "aspirational" suburb :'D

Worst part is - to get political for a second - it's part of the Calwell federal electorate which is a dead safe Labor seat, meaning there's no career-related incentive for politicians to clean the place up. Article here from a while back basically explains how swing seats are the priority for both Labor and Liberals even though Broady is the "capital of the North!" >lol<

Yeah i been going there for 3 years and nothing has happened as well. A few things happened in craigieburn tho..
