Yeah not too bad. Kind of drowning in sacs and I hate myself but besides that year's going great
Can relate to this so much.
Have two chem SACs this week. We're doing some stupid aspirin SAC on Friday and the teacher has been so ambiguous about the nature of the task that I'm frequently in a state of perpetual stress. The only thing I know about it atm is that it'll be done under time constraints.
Does anyone know what happens if you fail unit 3 (Methods)? I'm in Year 12 and due to completing a Year 12 subject last year it will be my 6th subject. If I fail the entire subject will this prevent me from being accepted into uni courses, even if I get the required ATAR?
Check if methods is a prerequisite for your course. If it is, it could be very important. If not, so long as you get the ATAR you need for your course, you'll be a-okay.
can I just ask how is everyone finding English so far?
I have had this recurring nightmare that this year's create and present prompts are going to be atrociously hard. I feel so traumatised from English it's not even funny.
My English teacher jokingly remarked that every time he mentions the exam or some SAC that's in the wings, I pull this half scared half haunted face without even realising it. At this stage, it's reached a point where during every essay I write, I can hear him in the back of my head telling me to be concise and crisp and sharp and some variation of that. It's giving me a bit of a complex.
I'm convinced that English is gonna be my fifth or sixth subject.
