Can't say I played pokemon this year but I did get distracted by Animal Crossing New Leaf earlier this year ahaha..
This may be also a tad bit off topic too but,
have you guys got any suggestions on quiet places to study? My house tends to be pretty loud a lot of the time...
and sometimes the library can be too...

I definitely get you! I got 7 people in my family with younger siblings and they tend to be really loud

Going to your local library is good Usually local libraries will have a "quiet" section just for studying. If not, go to State Library into one of the reading rooms (La Trobe reading room is the best and aesthetically pleasing too haha ). The city library (on flinders land) is also great, and it has longer hours (opens at 8am whilst State opens at 10am).
The uni libraries like Clayton's or Melb uni's are also fantastic! (No free wifi there though, but super quiet)

Luckyyy!!! Haha I live quite far from school Lol what's more infuriating is that next year we''re moving to my school's suburb because my younger siblings are gonna go there.... XD so I legit spend 6 years travelling for hours and next year when I leave i'll be within 10 minutes of school

Oh same, an hour long bus ride in the morning really gets me going  I've already been on the bus for a while before some of my school friends even get up.

It's why bus travellers/public transport users are generally more grumpy at school

Ahaha I came on here because I felt a lot more motivated and inspired to do well after going to the atar notes lectures 
Also, I live pretty far from the city, but those sound like pretty good ideas, thanks!

Yeah that doesn't work for me. I'm extremely inefficient in the mornings. I'd probably stare at my book for 30 mins and then moan about how tired I am coz I woke up early :3

Me too. My brain doesn't function well enough early in the morning to do work generally. Stay up til 3, wake up at 8 the following day, no problemo. Go to bed at 9 wake up at 3am? Hell no.

Same haha, I'd rather sleep late and wake up late (even though it's so bad because school starts at 8:30 for me and I need heaps of travelling time :/)

Isn't the recommended sleeping time 8.5 hours +? I barely get 7 lol
Hmm and does anyone have tips for falling asleep fast? I need to toss and turn for like half an hour before I can fall asleep. I've always envied those people who can just hit their pillow and doze off

Yo Elizawei!
I usually turn off the laptop and phone (because the blue light can make you stay awake...).
I also usually read for half an hour before the sleeping.
