If you want tips on the interview (or anybody else) then PM me since I'm currently an Access Monash Mentor and technically you're eligible for $4000 a year with it provided you don't receive another merit scholarship on top (in which you would take the higher amount instead).

Can confirm that IL is the person to ask about these things. He's always on the move regarding these. Monday - Friday scholarship interviews. Saturday - Sunday- job interviews. (only a bit exaggerated)

Also -- as an unbiased source-- I would also recommend yall come to Monash. Everyone but Swagadaktal we don't want him.
For commerce you guys can go Melbourne uni    and then transfer after a few years. You gotta see the dark to see the light aye.

Before I forget, for those who come to the orientation week events, visit dodgeball and table tennis stalls!  Look forward to meeting some of you hopefully and some future biomed students!

Are most of us finished then?

I finished up last Friday and I have a couple of friends finishing up tomorrow and Friday; the rest are done! For those that haven't, best of luck with the rest of your exams! You're almost at the end of the race!

For those that have finished, what have you been up to so far? Is anyone planning to travel? I've been taking it easy so far. I've done some shopping and a lot of reading! I'm also redecorating my room and a few things around the house, so I've been quite busy with that. Getting in on those autumn vibes even though its spring this morning by baking a homemade apple and pear pie- let's hope it turns out nicely!

I have a short trip planned interstate in December so I'm looking forward to that too. I actually arrive back in Melbourne on December 12th, so that will be interesting. I'm thinking I might not bother getting my ATAR sent to my phone and instead check it when I get home.

Hey guys I'm sure this isnt the right place for this, but havent received any replies on a thread I made. Does anyone have any answers to this?:

"Hey all. I am doing a smallish study (usually less than 100 students) called Laboratory skills. I noticed that in 2013 the scale up was approximately +3.2 at 40 raw ss and in 2014 it was +2 at 40 raw ss. Now the weird thing is in 2015 it scaled DOWN -1 at 40 raw. I am really not understanding this trend since the exam difficulty from 2013-2015 stayed pretty much consistent. From what I understand, this meant that the students who achieved a raw study score of 30 in this subject must have done worse in their other subjects for this to scale down. Is this correct? And what could have caused such a dramatic +3.2 to -1 scale at 40 raw ss in just 3 years? Do you think someone noticed this and thought, hold on, thats too much of a scaleup /there was a calculation of scaleup error in the previous years or is everything completely computerised? "

i already miss school and its been 2 days for me LOL
basically selling anything in my room i can rn (phones, notes, books, laptops) etc. on gumtree and ebay
and working a lot next week (unfortunately, my employer miss read my availability and didnt give me any shifts, but thats allg too LOL xD)
umm kinda bored, want to get my Ls hours up, save up for a first car (5k ish, nothing fancy), buy new pc speakers with a subwoofer, clean my room, download copious amounts of tv shows and anime

thats my plan for two weeks , idk about the rest :/ xD
