I'm currently undertaking Unit 3/4 Biology as a Year 11 in a Selective school. Obviously, our SACs would be a bit more difficult than the average school. I don't want to turn this into a blog of sorts, but I got a 41/50 for my Unit 3 coursework (probably 20-25/100 in our cohort). Considering our SACs are typically more challenging (by the teachers own admission), and assuming that our cohort does well on our exams, what would you expect this to scale up to?
Further, what are your experiences with cohort and SAC scaling?
Hi Frank, firstly they are really good results, keep up the good work

. Since you go to a selec-entry school, most likely your SACs will scale up.
I also did bio last year, didn't do that well in the SACS but did pretty good in the exam.
Here are my SAC scores:
GA 1: 75/100 --> scaled to 90/100
GA 2: 77/100 --> Scaled to 92/93?? can't remember out of 100.
My cohort was pretty strong, and some of our SACS were painfully difficult and long.
Hope that helps
