Was just wondering if anyone else is waiting for the result of their Monash JD application (city campus)?

Well into November/December before you'll hear anything. Only about 100 or so students.

Unfortunately I have been forced to defer my JD studies from the January intake until the one in May. For that reason I have not been given access to the book list even though I planned on studying ahead. Can anyone help me out and post the list or email it to me?

The intro law unit is changing in 2015 so I don't have a book list for it, sorry. With crim law there were a few crimes act changes this year so my book list is probably outdated: but there might be newer editions of these.

Anthony T, Crofts P et al, Waller & Williams Criminal Law Text and Cases (12th ed.), Lexis Nexis
Butterworths, Sydney, 2013 (hereafter ‘WW’) (Please note: students are required to obtain copies of
this book, which should be brought to class.  Additional cases will also be allocated for reading).

Crimes Act 1958 (Vic.) Current reprint.  (Please note:  students are not required to obtain a copy. The
full Act may be accessed electronically at http://www.legislation.vic.gov.au).

Recommended Resources

Criminal Procedure
Fox, R.G., Victorian Criminal Procedure (13th ed.), Melbourne: Monash Law Book Co-operative, 2010
(hereafter ‘Fox’).

Victorian Criminal Charge Book and Victorian Sentencing Manual: http://www.judicialcollege.vic.edu.au/

Bronitt, S and McSherry, B., Principles of Criminal Law (3rd ed), Sydney: LBC, 2010 (hereafter ‘B&McS’).

Corns, C and Tudor S., Criminal Process and Investigation in Victoria, Sydney: LBC, 2009 (second edition forthcoming in 2013).

(This was the book list in T1 2014)
