I am enrolling in two university chemistry subjects and have never done any chemistry before, either VCE or otherwise. How can I best teach myself the content? Any recommended resources that can simplify chemistry to make it easy to learn? Thanks!

This is the course I'm doing: http://www.open.edu.au/courses/science/rmit-university-chemistry-of-materials-1--scc100-2014
