English Context (Wag the Dog)

Hello lovelies! I have my context SAC for Wag the Dog tomorrow. I know in context, you don't have to directly mention the text - I have decided to write an opinion piece (a hybrid style essay) about "Selfie Culture" and argue that we are able to construct our own reality through it.
My ideas which I have taken directly from the text include:
- social conditioning and propaganda (this relates to the film in that people accept whatever is thrown at them by the government)
- the desire for recognition (Motss in the film wants to be recognised for his work to the point where he would rather die than not be validated)
- the viral spreading of an idea (think: OOTD, selfie trends etc) - (the shoes in the film! - the teenagers who throw their own shoes on the court)
- the idea of a higher power trying to abolish this movement for their own benefit (the government in WTD vs their opposition vs the CIA)
Do you think this is enough connection to the text? We get to write a statement of intention so I can write this all down too.
What do you think?
