VET concerns?

I completed a VET through my school in year 10 and I earned a Cert II in the course. I graduate year 12 this year and have been looking at university courses. Some courses such as monash MBBS have the requirement 'applicants must have completed Year 12 studies (or VCE equivalent) no more than two years prior, and have not commenced other studies at a tertiary level during that time.'

Does my certificate II that i earned through VET mean I will not be applicable for this course?

As far as I know, it doesn't. :) I definitely recommend talking to your careers counselor at school though.
