How many people get into JMSS?

Hey Everyone!

I recently had an interview with JMSS for year 10 entry in 2015.. does anyone know anything about:

- how many people get into the interview stage?
- how many get into JMSS itself?
- how many people actually tried out?

Hello there Chelonianlover,
I tried out for JMSS as well and had my interview not so long ago.
From my understanding, I can guarantee you that at least 200 people get into the school at year 10 level.
From personal observations, I have come to a conclusion that there were around 750-800 people that tried out this year.
Now I'm not so sure how many people got an interview thus far as they are still in the process of sending out the interviews which will be finalised on the 12th of September.

These are estimates, hopefully they aren't totally off:

Amount that tried out: 850
Amount that received an interview: 400 (Guessing this one)
Amount that will receive an offer: 200

Thanks Throne! Good luck to you too!! Yeah... I doubt I'll be getting in considering how I decided to go for the test only a week in advance :p The people I met there had studied 5 months or so in advance :p -_-

Only 750-800 people tried out for the thing, but I think your estimate on the amount that received an interview sounds right.

Lol i had my interview on the first Tuesday of which it started......I think.

Somewhere on jmss website. Probs enrollment part but not sure. The website did say around 200

Yeah, I saw the bit where they say that they select up to 200 kids, depending on how many places they have left, but I never saw any bit on where they say they select 400 ppl :/ Thanks anyway!!

Lolskies you are very funny :3 hahaha   It's just that I'm getting several different responses and I'm trying to find out which answer is right, so far atarnotes seems to have the right answers.
