CLASS OF 2018!

How are you all finding Year 11 thus far? Are you doing 3/4s?

Year 11 is actually a huge step from last year, but it's quite manageable (so far). This year, I am doing 3/4 Software Development. For my other subjects, I love Spesh, Physics, Chem and Eng Lang so far, but right now, I don't find Methods to be particularly interesting right now (it's basically revising Year 10 work and a little bit extra added). Otherwise, I'm currently enjoying Year 11!

What part of science was hard? Hope you really enjoy this year and next in those subjects. Can't say I'd particularly enjoy economics or accounting, but I just dropped further 3,4 ;-)

I enjoyed the majority of my unit 1 subjects, especially legal studies! It's a little content heavy, but the subject itself is so fascinating! I also finished unit 3 business management, so I'm planning to take notes on unit 4 AOS1 during the holidays. Any plans for the holidays?

Hey there! What sort of work experience are you doing over the holidays? I'm sure that'll be a great experience, regardless! Also, how's business going?

So far, I may or may have not watched two seasons of 'The Good Wife' in a week  I'll have to break this habit soon though; legal and maths methods assignments don't write themselves unfortunately

Unit 1 was pretty good. I'm really loving Physics and Chemistry, we have a really great teacher and the content is fun. Was pretty happy with Methods and Spesh, but isn't Spesh supposed to be hard? Almost the entire exam was trig?!!! Not that I mind that ;-)

That's good to hear, about Physics and Chem!
Spesh could be classed as the "hardest" maths, but I chose to ignore that fact hahaha.
I found that there was a fair bit of trig when I did methods and spesh!

So much holiday homework. This is the worst part of the Year 10-Year 11 jump!! Probably some family time as well though, some time with friends, but English and Methods will dominate my holidays. Might get some art done as well. How about you??

Myself (being on semester break for uni)- I learnt how to play the ukulele today, and I've tried to pick up some knitting and crossstich recently.

English is mostly language analysis, but also some comparative writing between Paradise Road and some war poetry. Methods we are doing logarithms and indices which is thankfully very easy!  I mostly do pencil and pastel sketches of birds (see my profile).
Is the uke fun? I've never really learned any musical instrument except about a year or two of the piano, so I don't really know what it is like. I used to know how to crossstitch and knit myself, but I haven't done any for a while now
