A Christmas Carol - Worth having a go at these questions?

Since time is scarce, was wondering whether it was worth planning or writing an essay for these text response questions:

'Consider the representation of food and its absence in A Christmas Carol.'

What role do secondary characters like Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and Fred play in the narrative?
What is the purpose of minor characters in A Christmas Carol?

‘The characters in A Christmas Carol have important symbolic meaning beyond themselves.’ Discuss.
‘The main characters in A Christmas Carol represent great symbolic meaning.’ Discuss.

Scrooge changes when he realises when he is not alone. Do you agree?
What is it about Scrooge that makes him slow to understand what the ghosts are saying to him?

“Though the Spirit’s eyes were clear and kind, he did not like to meet them.” ‘The Spirits are depicted as a malevolent force in A Christmas Carol.’ Do you agree?

Also, I'm stuck with this question if anyone can give me a hand, If it is about charity no matter the season, does that mean that the Power of the Christmas Spirit is only required to complete Scrooge's transformation, but not required to help help him keep his good ways after it?
‘Despite the name of the novella, A Christmas Carol is about charity no matter the season.’ Do you agree?

All help is much appreciated, thanks in advance,

I wouldn't do the ones I crossed out because they're too general IMO.

The prompt is discussing altruism within society regardless of whether it's christmas or not. Therefore, you don't necessarily need to discuss Scrooge's transformation per se as the question is more broad. My arguments would be as follows:

-Philanthropy redeemed Scrooge
-Society have a duty to help the poor- "mankind was my business"
-Christmas is a time of abundance and charity and therefore provides the paradigm of benevolence. Christian connotations would be discussed here.

Okay my arguments are terrible but you hopefully get the point :')
