What would be the 45+ cutoff?

I spoke to an Atarnote user earlier this year and he got;

Unit 3 -> 99/100

Unit 4 -> 97/100

Exam -> 91% and pulled a 45.

But another friend

Unit 3 -> 100/100

unit 4 -> 100/100

Exam -> 87% -> also 45

SAC marks are extremely influential, especially in health where they contribute for 50%

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

I really wouldn't bother asking what the SAC scores/ exam scores people got to attain the marks they did. What really matters is the strength of your cohort and your RANK in the cohort for sacs/exam.

I think the only curve ball questions I found were the difference between saturated and trans fats (but even then it wasn't hard to come up with a difference) and human rights. Overall it was alright! Not getting my hopes up though, anything could happen.

Fingers crossed.

would I lose mark if i used dot points?

As in when describing a program just write down points on what it does and how

and what? age wasn't a determinant?

I wrote down advancing age .. would that be correct as opposed as just age..

No no, age was a determinant.  I think the dot points should be fine as long as it makes sense.

hey guys, I've never actually posted on this site before, ever though i look at it almost every day :P but I'm still worried about what answers i put for some questions and desperately need some confirmation on my responses! for the DFAT question on why they provide the HIV program, what did you guys say? and what were reasonable responses? that was the only question where i had to make things up so im really worried, i said that it would reduce poverty and also promote Australia's national interest :/

thanks! also, if someone wanted to predict my study score, that would also be helpful!

GA1: 88/100
GA2: 98/100
GA3: 90ish/100
very strong cohort (rank top 10)

thank you so so much in advance :D

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if you think I could get a 40+ study score. So scared I'll miss out, get 37, and it will go to 33...

My average for sacs was 87% (quite disappointed tbh, our school has difficult sacs apparently).

And for the exam, 80 - 95/100.

Thanks in advance :)

Oh and for the fats question.

I wrote "Saturated fat is solid at room temperature, whereas trans fats are liquid at room temperature due to a process known as hydrogenation".

Hope they give it to me, but I doubt it.

@joystarr -> 80-95/100 will comfortably get you 40+

Studylove -> Those scores and 90+ in the exam should get you 45+

And for the HIV/AIDS question, I really can't remember what I wrote. But it was something in the lines of if HIV/AIDS is reduced, less funds will need to be directed at aid for HIV/AIDS, so the funds can be directed else where.
