Summer subject selections

Hey all, I missed the boat on Painting Techniques so I need your input on these summer subjects I'm thinking of doing instead.

HPSC20015 Astronomy in World History
MGMT10002 Principles of Management
HPSC20009 Technology & Contemporary Life
HIST30071 Urban Legends: Melbourne Intensive
EDUC10057 Wellbeing, Motivation and Performance

That's my shortlist but I'm open to other suggestions. I have a broad interest (subject I've done range from economics to botany) but I also want to do something that's easy to do well in - no ambiguous marking etc.
Any comments?

ps anyone done any 3rd year science subjects over the summer?

I haven't even looked at any of these and I think you should do URBAN LEGENDS as if you would even consider doing something else just based on that title omg.

Okay I looked it up in handbook and it has NOTHING to do with urban legends - what is this false advertising?  Where are the ghosts ok?

I did astronomy this summer, I'll write up a review or write more about it after my exams, but it was a good subject!

Time to write up some of the more obscure subjects I've done. :)

Just wanted to say, I've noticed over the years that reviews have gotten more indepth, loving how the standards are rising for reviews. :)

EDIT: This comment was meant for the "Subject review requests" thread. LOL.

I've done Wellbeing, Motivation and Performance and can recommend it. I think Natalie Brain is taking the feb intensive, and she is absolutely AMAZING! The most loveliest and supportive lecturer you'll ever meet.

Assessments were fairly easy, and it's easy to do well in this subject if you're cool with writing essays.

TBH - you can skip on the lectures, and still do fine.

I can send you the subject guide with more details about the assignments etc?

I've also done EDUC10057 and I enjoyed it! I did it in semester 1 this year and Lea was the main lecturer and she was amazing! If you prefer essays over exams then this would suit you. Like daphaneng said, you can pretty much skip lectures, it all gets reviewed in the tutes but assessments aren't really based on it anyway.

I also did astronomy over the summer. It was pretty enjoyable and not terribly difficult. The lecturer was awful though, and made what would have otherwise been very interesting lectures, quite boring.

I did EDUC10057 (Wellbeing, Motivation & Peformance) as a Semester 1 subject and it was such an easygoing and interesting subject! Definitely take it if you're interested in positive psychology and emotion/mood/personal development :D It probably won't feel that intensive if you take it as a summer subject as the content load wasn't that heavy to begin with :)

Thanks everyone but Unfortunately I cant do wellbeing, motivation and performance because Ive already done 3 lev 1 breadths. Now I'm leaning towards astronomy, which I'll probably do if no one can suggest another level 2/3 breadth. Any comments on the "observation report" assignment??

Supply chain management is also another fairly interesting and straightforward subject. Its a lvl 3 breadth with no prereqs.

The group project may take a little time but the exam is piss easy. (I got 48/50 with 2 nights of cramming).

Would you recommend it to a science student? The only comm subjects I've done are Finance 1 and Intro. Micro
