thoughts?

anyone else sit the R&S exam today? I thought it was pretty fair, no real surprises except the amount of lines for marks in some questions was strange. I did essay topic 1 as it was the quickest to do and I wanted to finish with time to check the essay over.

Yeah I did it. Final exam woo!! The lack of visual analysis/stimulus/whatever you call it was momentarily surprising but probably for the best because I wasn't ever amazing at that. They asked for sources of challenges a lot which kind of threw me? Definitely going to be my 6th subject haha but overall it was fine. I did essay 2

I'm so glad there was no cartoon analysis - hadn't done a single one all year (subject is new to my school this year).
I didn't like the question about the contemporary challenge and the vision for society in conflict with the wider society. My contemporary challenge was the child sexual abuse scandal, which is within the church... So it's not really got anything to do with what's happening in the "wider society". Ugh.

Thought it was very straightforward, everyone else seems to agree so it looks like its gonna be a hard year to score well.

The kind of student that gets high scores in VCE subjects could not get away with writing as bad as that absolute hiroshima of a sentence you just dropped.
