alright conclusion is doing math quest in chapter then doing essentials chapter review any good?

Like what pi said, I think working  from one textbook only and doing LOTS of exam(style) questions would probably be the best method. But if you insist on still working from two textbooks, your plan sounds fine. But don't be too surprised if throughout the year you find you're not getting enough time to work from both textbooks.
