Is this subject hard to get say 75+ in? I've done eng maths and found it to be alright, is it harder?
I enjoyed some probability in maths methods and i like programming (which i think has a bit of probability to it)but  i'm a bit concerned about the difficulty and my scores aren;t so great right now. So  should i just do vector calculus, or give this a go? (electrical systems major)

So, I didn't study 2nd year probability at UniMelb but I know a lot of people who did, and from what I've heard I wouldn't describe this as an easy subject. Then again, I don't think many maths subjects are considered 'easy'! Generally, doing well requires working hard throughout the semester, not just cramming for an exam.

If you liked the "flavour" of Engineering Maths, Vector Calculus would give you more of the same. Probability also doesn't have a huge amount to do with programming (the Discrete Maths subjects would be closest to that style of thinking). I really enjoyed the third year probability subjects I did, though!
