Please help - MGC2230 Lectures

Hello,

I am interested in completing MGC2230 next year in semester 1 at Clayton, however the lectures only run on Thursdays and I am unavailable on Thursdays for the first month.
I can attend all tutorials so that part is fine, I was just wondering if the lectures are recorded/if they're compulsory? I sent an email and the reply I received made it seem like they weren't recorded.

Also is there any group assignments that would require me to attend the lecturers?
I know attending lectures is a rare activity, I just want to be sure as there is no way that I'll be able to attend them.
