MONASH SCHOLARSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE

Hey everyone

I was just wondering if anyone got a Monash Scholarship for Excellence (98.00 - 99.85), and if so, what ATAR did you get? I think I JUST missed out, and was wondering what the cut off may have been.

And it says they offer 40 scholarships on the day of ATARs, but further additional offers MAY be made in January. What does this mean? Could we potentially get a scholarship offer after uni preferences come out?

And have any current university students ever gotten an offer in January for a scholarship? Or are they basically only made on the day of results?

I was offered this, and had friends who were offered it over the past week with ATARs of 99.70. Can't help with your other questions but hope this helps a bit

I was offered one. It seems like 99.70 was the cutoff for the scholarship. I do know someone who got a 99.65 a few years back and wasn't offered one.

Also, they said 40 scholarships are offered but I have a feeling that they offer a bit more than that to cater for those people who may not accept and go to a different uni - there are definitely more than 40 people between 99.70 and 99.95.
