Hey all,

What is the best lectures for the subjects listed in the title? What one has a good lecture itself, and what ones gives the best notes. Thanks! :)
The GOAL: Attain a RAW study score of 40+ in all my subjects.

Courses I would like to study in order of preference include: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Biomedicine or Bachelor of Science.

2014: Biology [42]
2015: English Language [??] | Chemistry [??] | Physics [??] | Mathematical Methods (CAS) [??] | Specialist Mathematics [??]

For Chem, the best would have to inarguably be TSFX. I attended the 1&2 headstart lectures and I didn't even use the textbook after that.

If the MGS guy is still teaching the TSFX physics one, then I'd definitely go to that, he's the only reason I managed to get a 40+ score.

For chem I went to TSFX too, average lectures but very comprehensive notes. If you can buy the note cheaply from someone then I wouldn't bother going, and I'd try some other company (Connect?).

(mind you, these are 2011 thoughts)

IMO the best lecturers for 3/4 chem and methods are Connect, very very clear lecturers. If memory serves, they covered the concepts and theory really well, but didn't do a great deal of worked examples. Which, I guess, is what you want from head start lectures. I believe they also give out Freddos for correct answers, but I could be misremembering, this was a couple of years ago. In 2013 their notes were decent, but TSFX's were way better. (The best notes I ever got were from Engage, but those were philosophy + global politics, so I can't speak for the quality of their chem/methods material)

Thanks for the contributions thus far.

For me personally, its the notes which do it for me. They're what I find most useful, with the lecture being a bonus. So I'm a bit swayed to TSFX giving their comprehensive notes and how effective it was for Bio.

Am open to more insight :)
