I don't know if i had GASTRO, but it was "loose bowels" lol. At the chemist. I went to doctor first and they gave me stupid rehydration medicine, which made me spew, yes seirously (i was practcially eating powder which sucked up the glas of wate, I felt much worse, and it was salty flavour). So don;t bother buying those, no point, I just drank water.

Um, just ask at the chemist for ANYTHING, they are all bound to work. Also avoid EVERY food, just seriously eat bread, bread, bread.

But I forgot to mention, if you have a parasite, which I think Gastro is, you need to "poop" (sorry), for a little while to ensure it is cleansed from your body, if you take tablets and stop yourself from going toilet it remains trapped inside, so yeah.

Sorry I can't remember exact name, but try "ethical nutrients" I see their advertisements all the time on television, so at leats its a well known brand and not some random.

Goodluck again!

Thanks.

I agree. How did you go! LOL, your situation was brought up at school, I was like "this person has their oral exam 2day and such and such".

LOL... thanks haha. well my school had no idea what to do. There were quite useless, apart from supplying me with the DES sheet. i took it to the doctors at 9.15, cost me $50 to get her to fill it out :( (money i going to use on getting my hair done for valedictory next week lol). Went and bought the Imodium, works soooo good. my stomach doesn't hurt at all and i haven't been since. lol. My exam went well, despite me almost walking in without my post -.-. Our language assistant realised just before i went in, then ran it down to me. lol. I got random questions though, a few i studied, others i didn't. I had 1 native speaker and another lady. The native speaker asked me what i did in my spare time and i was like, i play table tennis, watch tv and >WATCH BOOKS<. i'm an idiot. Hoping i dont look a mark for that cos maybe i do look at picture books :P. lol But i doubt it. Was no where near as scary as i was expecting, and the examiners were lovely. Apart from the native speaker also asking, is kyuushoku expensive, and do japanese students like kyuushoku? I was like i think kyuushoku is a little bit expensive. and to the second question, i didn't no how to answer so i was like... I like kyuushoku, but i've never been to Japan. LOL. i'm so stupid.

My aim was to get thru it without using english. and i did, so i'm happy. :)

Thanks for all your help. Hoping i get better soon so i can go visit my dad whose been in hospital since last week. :(.

Yeah we do... :) Thanks. i'm going to recommend Imodium to anyone who has gastro. works wonders. and the doctor did tell me about the parasite thing. and she recommended to stay away from dairy and wheat because your digestive system has to work harder and it isn't goo while you have gastro. and she also sai to eat plenty of salty foods to replace the salts you loose from all the diarrhoea. lol. I haven't bothered though, i drank loads of rasberry cordial lastnight to try and combat it for the night, it seemed to work, only got up once in the night. lol

yeah lol. well, i figure i was in desperate need of help lastnight, and it was more embarrassing lastnight getting up the guts to actually post about it. i also asked for help by putting it as my facebook status lastnight. So i don't feel so embarrassed now. lol

why is it you chose Jap w/o having done it year 12?Did it always interest you? Where you able to learn quickly?

Because you can just join at level 1, which requires no prior knowledge. One of my life-goals is to become fluent in another language, and I figure that being able to study a language at uni is just too good an opportunity to give up. Uni-level Jap moves very quickly. I'm probably the equivalent of a year 10 student now, and I've only been studying for about... 25 weeks now. By the end of next year, I'll have abilities equivalent to those who did it for their VCE.

I don't wanna hijack *another* thread though... so let us revert back to topic.
