There's also a similar Internship program that's started at Melbourne this year (pretty sure the applications are closed for this year..  starts in November each year) where you study part-time for 3 years whilst earning a salary and teaching inside a school (on a lower wage).

Don't forget about Teach for Australia. It allows 'high-achieving' undergrads to enter a classroom after their undergraduate degree, and study part-time. You end up with a Masters of Teaching/PGrad Dip, and you get to start (part-time) teaching very quickly after finishing your undergrad.

Thank you both very much. I'll do some more research. I've looked into Teach For Australia a bit (I don't think my subjects align too well with what I'd like to teach, I'm afraid), but haven't heard of the offerings at Melbourne Uni.
