i am taking the jmss entrance exam this year and am curious about how much seconds it should take approximately to colour/shade in the circles on the answer sheet (i have a feeling i lose too much time shading em) and also is it okay to leave a tiny part unshaded or do you have to shade in the whole thing completely and perfectly
i know it may sound like a stupid question but im having alot of trouble with this so help will be appreciated ty

I'd say probably under a second or maybe one? I think you just get better with it the more that you do it. Yeah it's fine to not have the whole circle shaded in really darkly - actually, I'd even recommend against this, since when checking you may change your answer and a darkly shaded spot can be difficult to rub out and may cause confusion during marking. Just stick to a relatively lite shade and you should be fine.

Be as quick as you can. Keep practicing. Practice like your life depends on it.

This could be the difference between leading a happy life as a neurosurgeon and being an arts graduate.

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic... are you being sarcastic?

Also, darkrai115 I took my time when shading the circles for JMSS entrance exam, like a few seconds purposely (to be precise 2-3... or 4), just to take time to acknowledge the moment, the answer... and to clear my mind (also, I like to differentiate myself to the rest of world, and this was one of the ways I differentiated myself to everyone else :P), if you rush through when shading that circle you could answer the wrong question on the sheet (so if you were answering question 17, but in your answer sheet you answer question 18 or something then you can muck up) take your time when shading that bubble, you really won't take up too much time :P If your fluent with your knowledge and skills you'll wizz through the exam and enjoy it! It's not exactly about finishing it quickly, it's about making sure you got most of it right! :P

You don't have to shade it perfectly lol. Just shade it enough so it's obvious that that's the answer. They aren't examining you on your skills in shading a bubble. Just shade majority of the bubble, you'll be fine. We're a science school, not arts! ;) :)

Good Luck and if you have any questions feel free to PM me! :)

edit: It's okay, I get it your being sarcastic :P ahaha

I went all OCD in the entry tests when I did it and legit was trying to colour them in perfectly within the ovals and everything lmAo as long as it's sufficiently filled in you should be fine but likewise, as commented above, it should be less than a second??

I find that the best way to minimize the time taken to shade circles is by using a high quality pencil. May I recommend the Staedtler Tradition Graphite Pencil 110 HB.
