Vic Uni or take a TAFE pathway?
« on: January 19, 2015, 04:12:06 am »
Hi, i have a few questions in regards to pathways in regards to RMIT. My ATAR was 41.20 and I have received my round 1 offer from VTAC and it was one of my low preferences of Vic Uni (Banking & Finance). My situation is that i would much rather prefer doing my course in RMIT instead of Vic Uni, and also because i'd rather do a Management course instead of Banking & Finance as i'm not interested in that field. I don't know much of how transferring from Vic Uni - RMIT operates so i'm a bit nervous whether i should accept the offer.

My 2nd option.
i am considering a TAFE pathway, which involves Doing RMIT Certificate IV in Frontline Management, which then goes to Diploma of Management, totaling up to 1 year. Doing this allows a total of 8 exemptions for the Bachelor Of Business (Management). The 8 exemptions according to the advanced standing map results in the course duration to 2 years.

So which option is better / preferred in my situation?

Thanks for helping me out with this :)
