Allocate and timetabling :)

Hey guys I made it into my business degree yay :) and when I was sorting out my tutorials and lectures I noticed a couple of things. Sometimes a lecture would end at say 1:00pm but the next a lecture for another subject would also start at 1:00pm. So does that mean it is not advisable to timetable my classes like this. Thus I always seem to end up with one hour breaks in between my classes.

Additionally for the subject Marketing theory and practise there seems to be no tutorials or lectures for it just one 90 minute workshop. Is this how the subject works? If so what exactly goes on in these workshops?

Thanks :)

Lectures end 5 minutes before their finish time, and start 5 minutes after it as well. So your first lecture would end up 12:55, the next would start at 1:05 specifically to facilitate this.

Thanks for the reply. That is good to hear, but just to confirm does this happen for tutorials and workshops as well?
